Ragging in any form, at any place or time is a cognizable offence that will attract severe punishment including summary expulsion from the Institution. If any student is found to be involved in any sort of ragging or harassment with juniors or other fellow students, inside or outside the campus, bus, hostel, he/she will be dismissed immediately from the institution and Criminal action will be taken against them as per MADHYA PRADESH PROHIBITION OF RAGGING ACT 2019 and UGC guidelines.
COMPOSITION OF THE ANTI –RAGGING COMMITTEE
The Institution has formed an Anti-Ragging committee with the Principal as the chairman. This committee effectively controls Ragging, which is violation against the fundamental human rights and human values. At the commencement of the academic Session, the chairman shall convene and address a meeting of various functionaries like representatives of students, parents/guardians, faculty and district administration including police to discuss the measures to be taken to prevent ragging in the institution.
